Display subtitle character count
In the transcript window, it would be helpful if there was a way to view the number of characters per subtitle/timecode. It can be difficult to quickly judge the number of characters otherwise.
Having a character count in-between timecodes would solve this problem.
Alternatively, the ability to place an adjustable vertical line across the transcript would allow you to quickly eyeball the relative length and consistency of each text chunk.

Although InqScribe does not have a character counter or character limit, there is a potential workaround available now: http://support.inqscribe.com/knowledgebase/articles/180460-how-do-i-set-a-character-limit-while-transcribing

Another user wrote in with a similar feature request to set a character limit per line.

add a character per line limit setting
It would make for easier export to MacCaption for captioning if we could limit the line width to 26-32 characters.
