Avid Caption Format Export
I'm wondering how difficult it might be to support the Avid DS caption format. It is a very simple unicode text file with no separators other than spaces and line returns. Sample below.

04:00:08:00 04:00:42:22
Text line 1
Text line 2
04:00:42:22 04:00:51:00
Text line 1
Text line 2
<end subtitles>
This format is supported for captioning within Avid non-linear video editing software including Avid DS and Avid Media Composer.

We're also struggling with a new editor using Avid Media Composer. Never had a problem with FCP and our previous editors have also been able to use AMC too but are unavailable to help. If anyone has any tips please advise! Need to know which format to export and then import into AMC. Thanks!

We're actively working on a few new and improved export formats, but it's a little too early to give details. I'll make sure to post any Avid-related updates once I can say more!

Yes please! I'm looking at getting 5 licenses on InqScribe specifically for our documentary film company to transcribe interviews in-house, and we cut exclusively on Avid. This would be huge.
